Colorado's Travis Hunter taken to hospital after being ruled out vs. CSU

In this story:

Travis Hunter was ruled out for the second half with an injury. 

Colorado's two-way star took a late hit toward the end of the first half. He returned for part of the second half, but was kept out after the Buffaloes came out of the locker room from halftime. It appeared his took a cheap shot to the abdomen by CSU's Henry Blackburn.

Hunter was replaced in the secondary by Kyndrich Breedlove. He left the game with two receptions for 21 yards. 

ESPN's broadcast broke the news that Hunter was taken to a local hospital for further observation. No word on his status. 

Colorado and Colorado State are tied at 28 going into overtime.
