Colorado vs. Utah: How to watch, Game time & TV schedule

Buffs and Utes meet for a final time before heading to the Big 12 next year

Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes are down to the season finale. They landed in Salt Lake City yesterday for a Saturday afternoon matchup with Utah. The latest edition of 'Rumble in the Rockies' for the Buffs and Utes.

Colorado's Shedeur Sanders one of the most accurate passers with 3,230 yards for 27 TDs and 3 INTs. He left the game early due to injury last week and is expected to be a game day decision on whether he'll play. Sanders didn't practice this week after a reported ankle injury.

On the other side, the Utes (7-4) are down to their fifth-string walk-on QB Luke Bottari. The former JUCO product has never played at the FBS level and will get reps for the first time in two years. He's a senior and this will be his swan song at Utah. It's going to be interesting to see how he does against CU's shutdown secondary. Utah lost two games in a row and returned home for Senior Day. They got hammered by Arizona in Tucson by a score of 42-18 last week.

“He’s a legend man. He’s a darn legend., Sanders said about Utah coach Kyle Whittingham. "He’s a guy that I truly respect. I truly admire. I truly glean from afar — I don’t really know him personally, I met him once I think at the Pac-12 meetings. But he’s a darn legend man. And his consistency and persistence speaks volumes. I love what he’s doing with that program. I love what he’s done with that program."

The Buffaloes (4-7) have lost five consecutive games and will try to stop the bleeding with a bit of momentum going into the off-season. Sanders' team took a 56-14 loss to Washington State in Pullman. It's been a wild season with Colorado being close in every game but two and both of them on the road.

Utah’s secondary will face an elite wide receiver with Travis Hunter, Xavier Weaver and Jimmy Horn, Jr. being able to work all over the field. The Buffs trio have been dealing with a touch of the flu as of late. It's been great to watch them work and Saturday’s game will be no different.

“They’ve won more games. There’s what, every game but one I think was a sellout, whether it’s home or on the road, Whittingham said about Colorado. "Turned the roster over almost completely and certainly upgraded that. So is not the program better in every way? I mean, I think it is. I haven’t studied every single component, but from where I’m sitting, it’s been a huge infusion of excitement, passion, interest, you name it.”
