Colorado wide receiver Xavier Weaver was named to the 2023 Biletnikoff Award Watch List, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced Wednesday.

The Biletnikoff Award recognizes the most outstanding receiver in college football regardless of position. Weaver, who transferred from South Florida, was the only addition for the Buffaloes. The senior has been an outstanding contributor and primary target for Shedeur Sanders.

Weaver is currently second in the Pac-12 with 631 yards and six total touchdowns. He'll likely set career-highs in the receptions, yards, and TDs this season. The Orlando, Fla. native got his third 100-yard receiving game in Colorado's loss to Stanford last week. He's also just shy of averaging the century mark with 90.1 receiving yards per contest.

Colorado has the bye week before heading to Pasadena to face 25th-ranked UCLA at the Rose Bowl on Oct. 28. It's the latest nationally televised game for the Buffs on ABC.
