Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes are losing another offensive lineman. Jack Wilty made the decision to enter the transfer portal on Monday afternoon. He played in 11 games (one start vs. TCU) for Colorado last year and didn't allow a sack in 146 pass attempts. The 6-foot-4, 310-pounder came to Boulder as part of Coach Prime's initial surge and re-enters the portal as a grad transfer.

Wilty transferred from Iowa Central Community College and was a three-star recruit ranked as the No. 69 JUCO player in the nation before coming to CU. He was named ICCAC Football All-Conference first-team in 2022. Prior to that, he was an unranked commit for Northern Illinois out of Southeast Polk (Iowa). Wilty will have two years of eligibility remaining.

Colorado now has thirteen players who've entered the transfer portal from last year's team. Wilty becomes the third offensive lineman to leave since Sanders and his staff brought in six new ones, including five-star IMG Academy standout Jordan Seaton.

One of the major reasons for the quick turnover on the line from last year was a record 56 sacks that were allowed. Shedeur Sanders took 52 of those and didn't play the last six quarters of the season with a fractured back. The Buffs are plus ten in the transfer portal count, with a total of 23 players coming to Boulder.
