Colorado's Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter move up in Heisman odds after win over TCU
Shedeur Sanders had a record-setting day in Fort Worth on Saturday. The Jackson State transfer became the first CU quarterback to throw for over 500 yards. He's also the third Pac-12 passer to accomplish the same feat. It was a great showing for the Buffaloes in Deion Sanders FBS debut with a 45-42 win over TCU.
Sanders worked his way up the Heisman odds while putting the college football world on notice. He started the day at 66-1 on the board and 24 hours later moved to 20-1. He wasn't the only Buffs standout to get some recognition.
Travis Hunter was officially added to the Heisman hype. The two-way stud is currently listed with 40-1 odds. He became the first college player in 20 years with a touchdown and an interception in a game.
Colorado's CFB Playoff odds were cut in half with the upset of TCU. The Buffs were in the field at 100-1 and are now listed at 50-1 odds.
Deion Sanders and Colorado return home for a two-game stand with Nebraska and Colorado before opening up the final Pac-12 season at Oregon on Sept. 23.
