Coach Prime pulled no punches when responding to a statement made by an anonymous Pac-12 coach who said CU was in a lose-lose situation.

The Colorado Buffaloes football coach who's currently recovering from blood clot surgery didn't take kindly to the unfair criticism and wanted to air out his feelings.

"This is the dumbest thing I've almost ever seen, and the only reason I said almost is because I'm giving y'all time to top this stupidity," Sanders said. "We Coming."

This comes days after the unnamed coach did a "drive-by" slam piece on Prime and the Buffaloes saying its either success with deion exiting for another job or a big circus.

"Either he's gonna be really good really fast and leave for another gig, which, looking at that roster doesn't seem possible. The alternative is that they're gonna be bad, and they'll end up firing him in a big circus."

"Jackson State was so good because they could get FBS-level guys and beat on FCS rosters. That won't happen here. They're not a good roster right now. How does he handle losing big? We haven't seen that."

Sanders penned what was believe to be a response to his peer on Sunday morning. But we can now consider that voided with this direct shot. The 55-year-old coach enters his seventh month on campus in Boulder with the college football world stirred up about his unconventional ways.

Nonetheless, the Hall of Famer inherited a one-win Buffs team with over 50 new players, mostly through the transfer portal. Nothing Prime is doing right now should be following a script.
