Deion Sanders made the rounds at CU leading up to Saturday night's Rocky Mountain Showdown. He bowed down to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, handed a custom Buffs jersey to Lil Wayne, and even threw shade and Jay Norvell.

Coach Prime told a packed crowd on ESPN's College GameDay set that the cameras will need to keep rolling past the handshake between him and Norvell.

"When we meet at the conclusion of the game, just keep the cameras rolling," Sanders to the GameDay crew.

The anticipation for Saturday's game started with Norvell taking a shot at Prime, saying he takes his hat and glasses off when talking to grown-ups. He ended the comment by saying it was like “my mother taught me.”

Sanders — who previously had a personal spat with Nebraska coach Matt Rhule —said that Norvell crossed a line making this personal and didn't take kindly to the dig at his mom. It has become a major storyline practically overnight. But everyone believes it's open season to try Sanders and the Buffaloes through their first two games.

“When you’re so right, you gotta find some wrong,” Sanders said. “If you could just search and go through this, you can’t talk about the kids. You can’t talk about the coaches. You can’t talk about the way we play. You gotta come at me personally, and you gotta find some wrong.”

No. 18 Colorado and Colorado State meet for the 92nd meeting of the Rocky Mountain Showdown on Saturday night. All the emotions and energy lead to the Buffs being 23.5-point favorites over the Rams. A 10 p.m. ET kickoff from Folsom Field on ESPN.
