Coach Prime continues to fulfill his promise of rebuilding the Colorado Buffaloes football program this off-season. Especially, with a lot of talent in the secondary. One of those transferring into Boulder got to experience the "high life" with Alabama early in his career.

Jahquez Robinson hopes to fulfill his dreams by becoming a Buff and learn from the best to ever do it, along with a coach who turns out pro prospects. The former Tide reserve had a lot to say in a recent interview with former Denver Broncos safety Nick Ferguson. Among the noted topics was why Robinson left Alabama and reunited with his former coach Charles Kelly. He was also asked about the connection with his one-time Bama teammate and Broncos All-Pro Patrick Surtain before committing to Prime at CU.

"I would say the biggest thing is my relationship with Coach Kelly," Robinson told the Nick Ferg Show.

"(Kelly) was one of the guys when he left I was sad. That's who I was always around and always watching game films with and learning the game. Another thing is, I ran into problems with the coaching, as far as not coming to an agreement for which position I should play or how I feel in the depth chart. Those are the two main reasons I decided to leave (Alabama)."

Robinson went on to talk about growing up in northern Florida, having a familiar face in linebacker Demouy Kennedy on the team, what he thinks of Sanders' approach to the game, and how Bryce Young will pan out in Carolina. Watch the entire interview above.

Robinson comes to Colorado with three years of eligibility remaining after a redshirt year.
