Jordan Domineck talks Arizona, physical practices, Senior Day, and Coach Prime

Buffaloes linebacker and Nick Ferguson look ahead to Saturday’s matchup between Colorado and Arizona

After last week’s close loss to Oregon State, it would be understandable for guys to express frustration. That’s not the case for Jordan Domineck. It’s simply not who he is, or what’s he made of. This was made abundantly clear after hearing Jordan’s appearance on the Buffs radio network postgame show.

“Don’t quit! We came here for a full season, 12 games….I’m going to tell my defense we still have a shot at bowl eligibility, We still have an opportunity to put our pride on the line. As a Buffalo, you should be coming out here and giving it your all every single play.”

Domineck shared his thought about trying to contain Arizona QB Noah Fifita, along with welcoming back Montana Lemonious-Craig and Taylor Upshaw, who left CU eariler this year. The Buffs edge rusher said it's all about business going into Senior Day. He also noted this was one of the most physical weeks in practice. To which Coach Prime said he loved to see the intensity ramped up.

The Lakeland, Fla. native will play his final home game in Boulder today. While he hasn’t been a Buff for long, his impact has been felt tremendously on and off the field. We have certainly appreciated getting to know him more throughout the season. Enjoy the latest episode of BuffsBeat Weekly.
