The Colorado Buffaloes secondary will get two major contributors back Saturday vs. Arizona State.

Shilo Sanders is active and will start at his safety spot. The middle son of Coach Prime missed last week’s game against USC with a kidney injury. He brings a hard-hitting approach for the Buffs defense and will be flying around. It's definitely huge news to have Shilo back in the lineup.

Myles Slusher went through warm-ups vs. USC, but didn't play. He returns at safety for the first time since the opener at TCU. The Buffs missed the physical pressure Slusher brings to the secondary. He'll be ready to fire off against the Sun Devils. Especially, having to chase around ASU's Cam Skattebo all night long.

Travis Hunter didn't make the trip CU and is still a few weeks away from making a return for the Buffaloes. He suffered a lacerated liver against CSU three weeks ago and was hospitalized overnight after the game.

Buffaloes offensive tackle Savion Washington is ruled out. Coach Prime said he would inactive after an injury. A huge blow for the protection plans of Shedeur Sanders.

Colorado faces Arizona State in Tempe at 6:30 p.m. ET on the Pac-12 Network.
