WATCH: Shedeur Sanders in the locker room without phone at halftime vs. Stanford

Colorado Buffaloes QB Shedeur Sanders wasn't on his phone at halftime of the Stanford game on Friday night. There were initial reports by various outlets saying that Coach Prime's son was promoting his merchandise mid-game.

A newly-released video by Well Off Media shows Sanders in the locker room having a treatment on his right elbow and meeting with Buffs offensive coordinator Sean Lewis. Shedeur reportedly didn't have his phone, and the post was handled by his social media team. 

Colorado took a 29-0 lead going into halftime before a second half dismantling. The 46-43 loss to Stanford was one of the worst in school history. The fourth-largest comeback in Pac-12 history for the Cardinal in the last year of the conference. CU's defense gave up over 500 yards in the game. Deion Sanders challenged his team after the stunning loss and asked if they really loved football.

Colorado tries to regroup with a bye week on the horizon. The Buffaloes practiced on Saturday afternoon and will maintain a normal schedule throughout the week. A meeting with UCLA at the Rose Bowl comes in two weeks. Chip Kelly's Bruins might tumble out the Top 25 after a 36-24 loss to 15th-ranked Oregon State on Saturday night.
