The Colorado Buffaloes shocked the world by going down to Fort Worth and knocking off 17th-ranked TCU. An unreal debut from Shedeur Sanders, who threw for 510 yards and four touchdowns. He earned Davey O'Brien Quarterback of the Week honors after breaking nine CU records against the Frogs.

Many skeptics wondered how last year's Deacon Jones Award winner would fare at Colorado. However, I don't believe anyone's questioning Sanders' talent at this point. The Jackson State transfer also picked up Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Coach Prime's son was joined by his top target, Travis Hunter, who was named the Bronko Nagurski Player of the Week. The two-way monster was all over the field on Saturday and made a direct impact. He pulled off a touchdown saving interception with ease and was one of four Buffs receivers to hit the century mark in receiving yards on the day.

Hunter will likely leave CU as one of the best to ever suit up in a Buffs uniform. He's a reincarnated version of Deion Sanders from his days in the NFL, except he might be a bit better than his mentor.

The do-it-all star was also joined by Dylan Edwards, who earned the title of Doak Walker National Running Back of the Week. The former Kansas HS Gatorade Player of the Year didn't skip a beat by starting as a true freshman. The future "Dawg" was everything and more in Sean Lewis' high-flying offensive scheme. He dug deep to keep the Buffs moving down the field and came off as a student of the game.

No. 22 Colorado faces Nebraska in a renewal of the former Big Eight rivalry on Saturday, Sept. 9 at Noon ET (TV:FOX).
