Travis Hunter earned preseason recognition at multiple positions. The Colorado football star was named to the 2023 preseason All-Pac-12 team, per an announcement by the conference on Tuesday.

Hunter was the only player to appear twice. The former five-star recruit made All-First team as both a defensive back and at All-Purpose/Special Teams. He was also an honorable mention selection at wide receiver.

While Hunter was the lone Buffaloes' player to officially make the list. USF transfer wide receiver Jimmy Horn, Jr. and punter Mark Vassett were honorable mentions at their respective positions.

What's surprising is Buffs QB Shedeur Sanders, along with a few of his teammates who made other lists, were omitted by select Pac-12 media members.

Heisman winner Caleb Williams was a consensus First-Team QB selection. The USC phenom is looking to pad his resume for a run to next year's NFL Draft. If projections are accurate, he'll be the first Trojans player to go No. 1 overall since Carson Palmer in 2003.

The entire list of All-Pac-12 selections can be found here.

Hunter, Sanders, and his father, coach Deion Sanders, will represent Colorado at Pac-12 Football Media Day in Las Vegas this Friday. The Buffs hit the main stage at 4:20 p.m. MT with coverage on the Pac-12 Network.
