Duke basketball hosts the unranked Hofstra Pride (6-3, 0-0 CAA) in Cameron Indoor Stadium on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET (ESPN2). The No. 21 Blue Devils (6-3, 0-1 ACC) look to win their second straight home game after dropping two in a row on the road, including the ACC opener at Georgia Tech.

In the first half of the defeat in Atlanta, sophomore guard Tyrese Proctor sustained a sprained ankle. He hasn't played since and remains out of commission on Tuesday night.

Sophomore center Christian Reeves, a seldom-used reserve, also remains out with an ankle injury.

Thirty minutes before tipoff, the game's official stats broadcast revealed the Blue Devils' starting five. Second-year Duke basketball head coach Jon Scheyer is rolling out the same starters he employed in Saturday's 80-56 victory in Cameron against Charlotte:

  • Senior guard Jeremy Roach
  • Freshman guard Caleb Foster
  • Freshman guard Jared McCain
  • Sophomore forward Mark Mitchell
  • Sophomore forward Kyle Filipowski

After facing the Pride, the Blue Devils will have a week off to handle exams and prepare for their primetime showdown against the No. 6 Baylor Bears in New York City's Madison Square Garden on Dec. 20 at 7 p.m. (ESPN). Then, Duke has the longest break on its schedule before welcoming Queens to Durham for the team's final regular season non-conference bout on Dec. 30.
