Duke Basketball Congratulates ACC Programs That Get to Host Blue Devils
Cameron Indoor Stadium aside, sell-out crowds are not so common across the ACC. One exception, of course, is when Duke basketball comes to town, the most recent example being the court-storming at unranked Wake Forest following the then-No. 8 Blue Devils' loss in Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Saturday.

So, on Thursday, following the reveal of next season's ACC matchups and venues as the conference gears up to expand to 18 members via the addition of Stanford, SMU, and Cal, the official account of Jon Scheyer's Blue Devils seized on the opportunity to brag by sarcastically applauding the programs that won the hosting-Duke lottery.
The Duke basketball account reposted the ACC's announced slate with the following caption: "Congrats to the ticket offices at all Duke road venues!"
Duke's press release outlined what lies ahead in conference play (game dates won't come out until the fall) for the 2024-25 Blue Devils, in what will be Scheyer's third season at the helm:
"Duke's 20-game schedule for 2024-25 features two games (home and away) versus its two current partners, North Carolina and Wake Forest, along with one repeat opponent. For the 2024-25 season, Duke’s additional two-game opponent is Miami.
"The remaining 14 conference games for the Blue Devils consist of seven home-only opponents and seven away-only opponents. Duke welcomes Cal, Florida State, NC State, Notre Dame, Pitt, Stanford and Virginia Tech to Cameron Indoor Stadium, while traveling to Boston College, Clemson, Georgia Tech, Louisville, SMU, Syracuse and Virginia."
NEXT 2023-24 DUKE BASKETBALL GAME: No. 10 Blue Devils (22-6, 13-4 ACC) at home versus unranked Virginia (21-8, 12-6 ACC), 6 p.m. ET Saturday (ESPN)
