The 2023-24 Duke basketball season, the second under Jon Scheyer's command, begins on Nov. 6 against the visiting Dartmouth Big Green in Cameron Indoor Stadium before the Blue Devils host the Arizona Wildcats four days later.

Duke revealed its full non-conference slate on Tuesday afternoon, along with the dates of the annual Countdown to Craziness program celebration and the lone exhibition matchup:

  • Oct. 20, Countdown to Craziness - Cameron Indoor Stadium, Durham
  • Nov. 1 vs. Pembroke (EXHIBITION) - Cameron Indoor Stadium
  • Nov. 6 vs. Dartmouth - Cameron Indoor Stadium
  • Nov. 10 vs. Arizona - Cameron Indoor Stadium
  • Nov. 14 vs. Michigan State - United Center, Chicago (Champions Classic)
  • Nov. 17 vs. Bucknell - Cameron Indoor Stadium (Blue Devil Challenge)
  • Nov. 21 vs. La Salle - Cameron Indoor Stadium (Blue Devil Challenge)
  • Nov. 24 vs. Southern Indiana - Cameron Indoor Stadium (Blue Devil Challenge)
  • Nov. 29 at Arkansas - Bud Walton Arena, Fayetteville, Ark. (ACC/SEC Challenge)
  • Dec. 9 vs. Charlotte - Cameron Indoor Stadium
  • Dec. 12 vs. Hofstra - Cameron Indoor Stadium
  • Dec. 20 vs. Baylor - Madison Square Garden, New York, N.Y.
  • Dec. 29 vs. Queens - Cameron Indoor Stadium

Last season's Duke basketball squad finished 27-9 overall and won the ACC Tournament before falling in the NCAA Tournament Round of 32 to Tennessee on March 18.

Eight scholarship players return from that group, including four starters. And the Blue Devils welcome four five-star rookies into the fold.
