With four minutes to play in the first half of Duke basketball's home contest against Bucknell on Friday night, Blue Devil sophomore forward and reigning ACC Rookie of the Year Kyle Filipowski fell to the floor on an offensive possession. He appeared to be in pain and grabbing his right leg.

Duke head coach Jon Scheyer walked across the court to check on his fallen star, and two Blue Devil walk-ons, Stanley Borden and Neal Begovich, eventually helped Filipowski to his feet and off the court straight back into the locker room.

Kyle Filipowski leads all Blue Devils in points (21.7 per game), rebounds (7.7 per game), and blocks (1.3 per game) this season while shooting 55.6 percent from the field.

There's no word yet on the 7-footer's status. He did not return to the court or bench in the final four minutes of the first half.

UPDATE: With four minutes to go before the start of the second half, Filipowski came onto the court (a minute later than his teammates) to warm up with the Blue Devils. He then was in the lineup to start the second half.

At the half, the Blue Devils (2-1) held a 44-29 advantage over the visiting Bison (1-3) in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Filipowski had eight points and five rebounds across 12 minutes on the floor before entering the locker room.

The second Duke basketball team of the Jon Scheyer era next has a home matchup against La Salle on Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET.
