Duke Basketball Announces Starting Five for Battle at Arkansas
With their "Beat Duke" towels in hand, the Arkansas faithful are hoping to watch the unranked Razorbacks (4-3, 0-0 SEC) knock off the No. 7 Blue Devils (5-1, 0-0 ACC) in Bud Walton Arena on Wednesday night as part of the inaugural ACC/SEC Challenge.
Tipoff is at 9:15 p.m. ET (ESPN).

This marks the first meeting between the programs since Duke basketball came out on top in the 2022 Elite Eight (the last win of Mike Krzyzewski's career). And it's the first time in the all-time series (tied at 2-2) that either has played on the other's home floor.
Ahead of the showdown, the Duke basketball stat broadcast revealed second-year head coach Jon Scheyer's starting five in Fayetteville, Ark.:
- Sophomore guard Tyrese Proctor
- Senior guard Jeremy Roach
- Freshman guard Jared McCain
- Sophomore forward Mark Mitchell
- Sophomore forward Kyle Filipowski
Duke rolled out the same combination across its last five games. In the season opener against Dartmouth on Nov. 6, graduate big man Ryan Young drew a start because Mitchell was out with a sprained ankle.
Following the ACC/SEC Challenge, the Blue Devils will return to Durham for a few days before heading to Atlanta to face unranked Georgia Tech (3-2, 0-0 ACC) in both teams' conference opener on Saturday at 2:15 p.m. ET (The CW).
Then, after getting a week off for exams, Duke hosts Charlotte in Cameron Indoor Stadium on Dec. 9 and Hofstra three days later.
