Duke - Central Arkansas: Gameday Open Thread
Duke faces Scottie Pippen’s alma mater when Central Arkansas comes to Cameron.
This game is part of the 2k Empire Classic, as is Friday’s game against Georgia State. After the on campus prelims Duke will head (win or lose) to New York the weekend of Nov. 21 for games against Cal and either Georgetown or Texas.
Duke has won the event the last two times, most recently in 2015-16.
Central Arkansas is 1-2 after losses at Baylor & Georgetown, although the Bears outscored the Hoyas in the second half.
Watch for junior big man Hayden Koval, the school’s all time blocked shot leader, as well as several experienced guards. CAU returns four starters from last year.
