Taylor Swift Amazed by Duke Football Product's TD Reception

Some think Taylor Swift mistook Duke football alum Noah Gray for another Chiefs tight end.

Taylor Swift may have thought she was cheering for the man she came to see, Kansas City Chiefs eight-time Pro Bowl tight end Travis Kelce, not his understudy, former Duke football player Noah Gray. In fairness, both their numbers begin with an "8."

Either way, the 33-year-old Swift was visibly impressed with the 24-year-old Gray's reception and sprint for a touchdown to give the visiting Chiefs a 17-0 lead over the New York Jets late in the first quarter on their way to a 23-20 win at MetLife Stadium on Sunday night.

First, here is the highlight of Gray's 34-yard touchdown, which Duke football proudly advertised on social media:

Now, check out the 12-time Grammy winner's sheer excitement over Gray's play, one of countless reactions that NBC caught on camera of Swift and her gang in their suite:

It was Noah Gray's only reception on the night and his first touchdown this season. Meanwhile, Travis Kelce gave Taylor Swift, at her second straight appearance for a Chiefs game, plenty to cheer about by racking up 60 yards on six catches.

Gray, who heard his name in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft following four seasons as a Blue Devil and has been with the Kansas City Chiefs his entire pro career, now has 112 receiving yards on eight receptions for the defending Super Bowl champions (now 3-1 this go-round and 2-0 with Swift on hand).
