Update: Duke in the NFL, Week 3 Saturday Games /

On Friday, we looked at the performance of former Duke players trying to win NFL spots in Thursday night's Week Three Preseason games.

Five more former Blue Devils were in action on Saturday. Here's a look at how they did:

Longtime long snapper Thomas Hennessy doesn't have a challenger on the Jets roster. Having his job guaranteed also means he doesn't get any time off. He was in on all 10 special teams kicks in Saturday's home loss to New Orleans. He had one assisted tackle, getting downfield to hit the return man after snapping for a punt.

Jamison Crowder, a Jets teammate of Hennessy, was targeted twice. His first opportunity was incomplete over the middle. Crowder caught the second for an eight-yard gain over the middle in the red zone. He also had a tackle after a Jets teammate lost a fumble. Crowder was in for 23 snaps.

Rookie tight end Daniel Helm, already on his second NFL roster, got in for 18 snaps at tight end for the 49ers, adding another six plays on special teams. He didn't get targeted for any passes.

Laken Tomlinson, also on the Niners, started at left guard for San Francisco and was in for  39 plays on offense and three on special teams. He didn't get flagged for any penalties.

Johnathan Lloyd is trying to make the Rams as an undrafted rookie receiver. Saturday's game was not a good sign for his potential success. Lloyd only saw the field for five snaps on offense and three on special teams. He's trying to make the team as the fifth receiver, and six Rams receivers logged more playing time on Saturday.
