Cam Reddish joins another Duke basketball product in Portland
Former Duke basketball one-and-done forward Cam Reddish hasn't been injured. Nonetheless, the last time he played a single minute for the New York Knicks was way back in early December.
And barring some unforeseen trade back to New York down the road, that will remain the last time Reddish plays for the Knicks. ESPN reported they traded him and a protected future first-round draft pick to the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night — the eve of the trade deadline — in exchange for Josh Hart.
In Portland, the 23-year-old Reddish will be teammates with another former Duke basketball one-and-done forward, Justise Winslow. However, Winslow has been out of action since Dec. 21 with a left ankle sprain.

Cam Reddish, now about to play for his third team since going No. 10 overall at the 2019 NBA Draft to the Atlanta Hawks, averaged only 8.4 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.0 assists in the 20 games he played for the Knicks this season. But he did that in only 21.9 minutes per game.
He's in the final year of his rookie contract and will be a restricted free agent in the offseason.
As for Winslow, who came off the board at No. 10 overall in 2015 after helping Duke snag its fifth national championship, the 26-year-old has played in 29 games this season (11 as a starter). He's averaging 6.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in the final year of a two-year contract.
The Portland Trail Blazers (26-28), who were playing a home game against the Golden State Warriors when the trade news emerged, next play at 10 p.m. ET Friday against the visiting Oklahoma City Thunder. There's no word yet on when Reddish will play his first game for the Blazers; meanwhile, Winslow seems near a return from injury.
