Duke Basketball One-And-Done Heating Up With Lakers
There's no guarantee Cam Reddish will remain in the Los Angeles Lakers' starting five. But his teammates and coaches have been delighted with the former Duke basketball wing's performances as his minutes have increased across the first 10 games of his first year with the franchise.

Although the 24-year-old is averaging only 7.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.0 assists in 22.8 minutes per outing, the long-limbed forward's career-high 1.4 steals per game highlights what could be his specialty in carving out a long NBA career.
And his recent uptick in the scoring column coincides with the Lakers getting on the right track this season following a disappointing 3-5 start.
Reddish scored 17 points, shooting 5-for-8 from three and 2-for-2 from the stripe, in Los Angeles' 122-119 victory at the Phoenix Suns on Friday night.
The 2018-19 Duke basketball one-and-done followed that up two days later with 18 points, seven rebounds, two assists, three steals, one block, and only one turnover across his 38 minutes on the floor in a 116-110 home win over the Portland Trail Blazers.
"I feel like all my teammates have done a great job of just pouring into me and telling me how much they believe in me," Reddish, who was selected 10th overall in the 2019 NBA Draft and played for the Atlanta Hawks, New York Knicks, and Portland Trail Blazers before signing with the Lakers, told the media afterward. "I haven't had an atmosphere like this, I don't think, in my entire NBA career.
"It's been a lot of fun. It's been a blessing, and I'm just looking forward to the future."
Next up for Cam Reddish and the Lakers (5-5) is a home matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies (2-8) on Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. ET.
