Three months after receiving an offer from first-year Duke basketball head coach Jon Scheyer, Eleanor Roosevelt High School (Calif.) junior combo guard Brayden Burries was on campus to check out the Blue Devils in person this week.

It's worth noting that Duke recruiters were at his school only last week, the first week of the open contact period that runs through mid-October. So the mutual interest seems to be building between the 6-foot-5, 185-pound four-star and his Blue Devil suitors.

Although Burries reported it as only an unofficial visit, he got the opportunity to pose in a Duke basketball jersey while inside Cameron Indoor Stadium's hype room. And he shared those photos (in the post below) on Tuesday night, along with a question for Blue Devil fans: "The brotherhood?"

Brayden Burries, whose explosive first step, sturdy frame, and unrushed game bring to mind current Duke rookie combo guard Jared McCain (also from the Golden State), is on the cusp of a five-star rating, ranking No. 30 overall and No. 5 among California prospects on the 247Sports 2025 Composite.

He boasts roughly two dozen offers. That ever-growing list includes the likes of Alabama, Arizona, Kansas, and UCLA.

According to a recent report from 24/7 High School Hoops, Burries has scheduled an unofficial visit to San Diego State for this weekend and is working to set up a trip to Ohio State.

Thus far, Burries has neither named favorites nor provided a timeline for a decision, which could still be over a year away, given his grade. He is one of nine preps on a 2025 Duke basketball wishlist that has not yet yielded either a commitment or rejection for Scheyer and his gang.
