One could view North Meck (N.C.) rising senior and future Duke basketball wing Isaiah Evans as either inconsistent or perseverant following his performances at the talent-rich NBPA Top 100 Camp in Orlando, Fla., on Thursday.

However, no matter how one looks at it, his day's second outing was highly impressive.

Evans, who ranks No. 19 overall on the 247Sports 2024 Composite and reminds many of former Blue Devil one-and-done Brandon Ingram due to his slender frame, smooth moves, and deft shooting, scored only four points in his team's first game, shooting 2-for-7 from the field.

But as On3's Jamie Shaw noted in praising Isaiah Evans' bounce back later in the day, "Shooters shoot." And that's exactly what the 6-foot-7, 170-pound five-star did, going off for 28 points with an 11-for-19 shooting clip.

His hot hand appears to have boosted his confidence in other facets of the game, as he flirted with a triple-double, tallying 11 rebounds and nine assists in front of a slew of NBA scouts and college coaches. According to Relentless Hoops' Trent Markwith, Evans "brought good energy on defense too."

Isaiah Evans is one of two early 2024 Duke basketball recruiting prizes. He committed to Jon Scheyer and the Blue Devils in late April, two weeks after checking out the program on an official visit.

The other commit is Paul VI Catholic (Va.) four-star small forward Darren Harris, who recently saw his composite ranking slip a handful of spots to No. 61 in the class.
