Duke basketball recruiting target Cooper Flagg turned 16 in December, a few weeks too soon to be eligible for a spot on the USA U16 National Team this year. So while some of his top 2025 competitors, including the Boozer twins, were in Colorado over the weekend for USA tryouts, Flagg was in Memphis for Nike EYBL E16 Session 4.

Sure, one could point to the slightly diminished competition level as a contributing factor to Flagg leading his Maine United squad to a 3-1 record and coming within three points of going 4-0. Even so, there's no denying the superiority of his stat lines — not just this past weekend.

On Saturday, the 6-foot-8, 195-pound five-star played two games. He finished the first with 27 points, 17 rebounds, 11 assists, four blocks, and three steals, a mere warmup to the full-court dominance that was to come.

Hours later, he went off for 45 points, 14 boards, eight dimes, four blocks, and two steals while shooting 13-for-19 from the field and 17-for-18 from the charity stripe.

Cheat-code numbers.

Then on Sunday, Flagg, a sophomore at Montverde Academy (Fla.) who grew up a Duke basketball fan in Maine and now ranks No. 2 overall on the 247Sports 2025 Composite, flirted with a quadruple-double. He recorded 12 points, 17 rebounds, eight assists, and 12 blocks in only 32 minutes on the floor.

And in his second outing of the day, the phenom capped off yet another stellar weekend by tallying 25 points, 12 rebounds, seven assists, three blocks, and two steals.

Across the two-day showcase in Memphis, Cooper Flagg averaged 27.3 points, 15.0 rebounds, 8.5 assists, 5.8 blocks, and 1.8 steals, impressive enough to earn the weekend's E16 MVP honors from MADE Hoops.

He remains at the center of the Duke basketball recruiting radar, and for good reason.
