One day this week, perhaps as early as Tuesday, Kokomo (Ind.) center and prime Duke basketball recruiting target Flory Bidunga will reveal his college destination.

Late Monday night, Bidunga, who sits at No. 4 overall and No. 1 at his position on the 247Sports 2024 Composite, teased the announcement via the following post on X:

The 6-foot-9, 220-pound five-star bruiser has been down to a final four of Duke, Kansas, Auburn, and Michigan since mid-July. But many believe Flory Bidunga is deciding between the Blue Devils and Jayhawks, for those are the only two schools that hosted him for an official visit.

Second-year Duke basketball head coach Jon Scheyer and his gang entered the race the third week of June. Their move occurred about the same time the Congo native was on his trip to Durham.

All three 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions indicate the Blue Devils are the favorites to come out on top. The same goes for the most recent four picks in the Rivals FutureCast.

Furthermore, the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine gives Duke basketball an 82.3 percent chance to prevail.

As things stand, Scheyer and his staff boast two 2024 commits in North Meck (N.C.) five-star small forward Isaiah Evans and Paul VI Catholic (Va.) four-star small forward Darren Harris. The haul ranks No. 7 in the nation, per 247Sports, but the addition of Bidunga would bump it into a dead heat with rival UNC for the top spot.
