In this story:

Last week, North Meck (N.C.) forward and 2024 Duke basketball signee Isaiah Evans eclipsed 2,000 points as a prep. Fast forward to this week, and the 6-foot-6, 170-pound five-star added 33 points to that total on Senior Night.

Evans, a McDonald's All-American who ranks No. 13 on the 247Sports 2024 Composite and draws comparisons to 2015-16 Blue Devil sensation Brandon Ingram, is no stranger to 30-plus outings, as he's posted loads of them across his brilliant high school career. He tallied 44 earlier this month and 62 in a playoff bout last year.

But the 18-year-old saved arguably the filthiest pump fake and stare in his arsenal for his final regular-season performance in front of his home crowd on Friday night.

Check out the first highlight in the video below, in which Evans stops on a dime at the top of the key, dizzies the West Charlotte defender, takes a moment to look back at him, and splashes the three:

Isaiah Evans will be alongside at least four other celebrated recruits arriving in Durham this summer. They are Montverde (Fla.) five-star forward and top-ranked 2024 talent Cooper Flagg, Wisconsin Lutheran five-star forward Kon Knueppel, and two Paul VI (Va.) standouts in five-star center Patrick Ngongba II and four-star wing Darren Harris.

The collection remains No. 1 in the country. It will mark Duke basketball's third top-two haul since now-second-year head coach Jon Scheyer began calling all the shots for the program on the recruiting trail.
