LOOK: Five-Star Recruit Dons Duke basketball Jersey
North Meck (N.C.) junior Isaiah Evans arrived in Durham with his family on Friday for an official visit to the Duke basketball program. And judging by the pictures that have popped up on social media courtesy of him and his mother, it sure looks like the 6-foot-7, 170-pound small forward has enjoyed the trip.

On his mom's Friday Instagram Story, she posted the following shot of Evans, No. 10 nationally among 2024 prospects according to 247Sports' rankings, standing and smiling next to retired Duke basketball legend Mike Krzyzewski in the program's practice facility:
Then on Saturday, Evans showed off what he looks like wearing a Blue Devil jersey in Cameron Indoor Stadium's hype room, asking for fans' thoughts:
Isaiah Evans scored 62 points in a playoff game six weeks ago, continues to draw comparisons to former Duke basketball one-and-done Brandon Ingram, and boasts a long list of suitors. He has not named finalists in his recruitment. And he hasn't indicated a timeline for making a decision.
Thus far, the long-limbed bucket-getter has taken only one other official visit: to Florida State in late October.
But this weekend marks his second trip to Durham in the past six months. During an unofficial visit in late November, he attended the Blue Devils' home win over Ohio State in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.
While the 247Sports Crystal Ball does not yet contain any predictions for where Evans will end up, the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine paints the Blue Devils as the frontrunner with a 34.5 percent of landing him. Florida State appears next at 22.8 percent.
He is one of only a few 2024 recruits still drawing significant interest from first-year Duke basketball head coach Jon Scheyer and his staff.

For now, Paul VI Catholic (Va.) sharpshooter Darren Harris, a four-star small forward who ranks No. 50 overall on the 247Sports 2024 Composite, is the Blue Devils' only commit from the class.
