UAlbany DB Aamir Hall Enters Transfer Portal

UAlbany defensive back Aamir Hall has officially entered the NCAA transfer portal. As a graduate transfer, he will have one season of eligibility remaining.

Hall earned FCS All-American honors last season after recording 63 total tackles, five interceptions, and 15 pass breakups. He was an integral part of the Great Danes making a run to the semifinals of the FCS Playoffs. He also earned first-team All-CAA honors.

Hall started his career at Richmond, seeing action in 24 games over three seasons. He totaled 106 tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions, and 19 pass breakups for the Spiders.

Tennessee State Names Travis Partridge Offensive Coordinator

Tennessee State named Travis Partridge as the offensive coordinator for the Tigers. He will replace Tyler Roehl, who accepted the same role at Iowa State after only a month with the Tigers.

"The opportunity to join TSU Football and be a part of the great staff, community, and players here is an absolute blessing," said Partridge. "The program is primed for great things, and I'm looking forward to contributing! My family and I can't wait to get to Nashville!"

Partridge has been the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at UT Martin for the past two seasons. Last season, under Partridge, the Skyhawks led the Big South-OVC in scoring offense (31.7) and total offense (439.5).

Partridge served as the interim quarterbacks coach at Kansas in 2021. He also was an offensive quality control coach from 2019-20. Before his stint at Kansas, Partridge was a graduate assistant at Delta State in 2017.

Prairie View A&M Names Anthony Weeden Offensive Coordinator

Prairie View A&M has officially named Anthony Weeden as the new offensive coordinator for the Panthers. He will replace Mark Frederick, who accepted the same role at Southern this offseason.

Weeden spent three seasons as the offensive coordinator at Campbell. Under Weeden, the Camels set the school record for single-season passing yards (2,915) in 2022. Weeden was awarded the Graphite Award as the most efficient play-caller in the CAA.

Before his stint at Campbell, Weeden coached wide receivers at Dixie State for four seasons. He helped lead the Trailblazers to its best season in the program's Division II era. He also had stints as an assistant at Northwestern Oklahoma State and Missouri Southern State.

Weeden had an All-American career as a return specialist and wide receiver at Prairie View A&M. He led Prairie View A&M to its first SWAC Championship since 1964. He also served as a defensive assistant coach and offensive quality control coordinator for the Panthers.
