Idaho DB Murvin Kenion III Transfers To Sacramento State

Former Idaho defensive back Murvin Kenion III announced his commitment to Sacramento State. He will have one season of eligibility remaining for the Hornets.

Kenion had a breakout season for the Vandals as a sophomore, earning second-team All-Conference honors. He finished the season with 36 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, four interceptions, 11 pass breakups, and one forced fumble.

Kenion was limited to nine games last season due to injury but recorded a season-high six tackles against UAlbany in the FCS Playoffs. He led St. Patrick Vincent to a state championship before starting his college career at City College of San Francisco. 

Southeastern Louisiana Lands Commitment From Alabama State QB Damon Stewart

Former Alabama State quarterback Damon Stewart announced his transfer to Southeastern Louisiana. He will have two years of eligibility remaining for the Lions.

Stewart completed 64.4% of his passes for 1,655 passing yards, 11 passing touchdowns, and four interceptions last season. He ranked No. 1 in the SWAC for passing efficiency (147.2) and finished the season 5-2 as the starting quarterback.

Stewart started his career at East Mississippi Community College and signed with UAB, but only played one season with the Blazers. He was named the 601 Offensive Player of the Year and earned first-team All-State honors at Oak Grove High School. 

Georgia State DB Jalen Tate Transfers To Jackson State

Former Georgia State defensive back Jalen Tate announced his commitment to Jackson State. He will have two seasons of eligibility remaining as a graduate transfer for the Tigers.

Over three seasons with the Panthers, Tate recorded 52 total tackles, one tackle for loss, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble. He made his first career start against Coastal Carolina and recorded a career-high six total tackles. 

The 6-foot, 198-pound safety signed with Georgia State as a three-star prospect out of Greenville, South Carolina. Tate was the No. 152 safety and No. 44 player in the state of South Carolina, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He earned first-team 4A All-State honors and received an invite to the Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas All-Star game. 

Cornell OL Terrance Caldwell Announces Commitment To Weber State

Former Cornell offensive lineman Terrance Caldwell announced his transfer to Weber State. He will have two seasons of eligibility remaining for the Wildcats as a graduate transfer.

Caldwell played three seasons at Cornell, starting 17 games over the past two seasons. He has only allowed one sack during his career and played over 1,200 snaps at center. He earned first-team All-Ivy honors from FCS Football Central and also earned All-Conference honors from Phil Steele.

The 6-foot-1, 316-pound center signed with Cornell as a three-star prospect out of Mater Dei High School. He was the No. 165 interior offensive lineman and No. 285 player in California, according to 247Sports. Caldwell earned All-League and All-Conference honors as a senior, while also being a three-time All-League selection in track & field.
