The 2023 FCS Playoffs kick off this weekend with eight first-round matchups.

Three teams (Mercer, Drake, and North Carolina Central) are all making the first appearance in the FCS Playoffs in school history. Delaware is making its 25th FCS postseason appearance, while North Dakota State is making its 14th appearance in the FCS Playoffs.
