3-star cornerback Jayden Coleman commits to Tennessee State
Three-star cornerback Jayden Coleman announced his commitment to Tennessee State on Saturday. He committed to Tennessee State over offers from Auburn, Tennessee, North Carolina, Penn State, and Texas A&M.
The 6-foot-1, 178-pound cornerback is from Liberty-Eylau High School in Texarkana, Texas. He transferred this offseason from Central High School in Phenix City, Alabama.
Coleman is the No. 867 overall prospect and No. 83 cornerback in the class of 2024. He ranks as the No. 16 cornerback and No. 135 player in the state of Texas, according to the On3 industry rankings.
He is the highest-ranked commit in Tennessee State history, surpassing three-star defensive tackle Terray Jones. Coleman joins three-star defensive lineman Tyler Moore in the class of 2024 for the Tigers.
