Senior Florida forward CJ Felder has entered the transfer portal, Graham Hall of 247Sports reported on Tuesday.

A product of Sumter (S.C.) High, Felder originally signed with Boston College as a member of the 2018 recruiting class. He averaged 7.2 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game in 50 appearances with the Golden Eagles, including 35 starts, before transferring to Florida in April 2021.

During his two-season stint with the Gators, Felder averaged 3.1 points and 2.5 rebounds in 12.3 minutes per game, posting a shooting percentage of 54.4 percent, 15 assists, 22 blocks and 17 steals across 45 appearances and 11 starts.

He stepped away from the team for eight games of the 2022-23 season due to undisclosed personal reasons, which head coach Todd Golden noted were not disciplinary in nature in January.

Felder is the fourth member of Florida's 2022-23 roster to enter the portal this offseason, following wing Kowacie Reeves, guard Niels Lane and center Jason Jitoboh. He's the seventh player to depart from the program in total, as guards Kyle Lofton and Myreon Jones and center Colin Castleton have completed their collegiate eligibility.

Felder maintains one final season of collegiate eligibility as a result of COVID-19 eligibility extensions.
