Gators Fall Camp 2023: Notes and Quarterback Video From Day 2
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The Billy Napier-led Gators returned to the practice field on Tuesday for day two of fall camp.
During the near-15-minute viewing period for media in the helmet-only practice session, All Gators focused on Florida's quarterback competition to witness the majority of throws made by Graham Mertz, Max Brown and Jack Miller III in the stations they participated in.
Tight ends, running backs and wide receivers rotated as pass catchers throughout the window, primarily running short-to-intermediate routes although the receivers rep one deep post apiece.

Gators Fall Camp 2023: Day 2 Notes
- Practice dress code was limited to helmets again on day two. Shells and full pads will be put on in the coming days.
- Offensive tackles Lyndell Hudson Jr., Kamryn Waites and Caden Jones were absent from practice. Waites continues to recover from an offseason Achilles injury.
- Thai Chiaokhiao-Bowman, freshman Eugene Wilson III and freshman walk-on Brian Greene Jr. participated in rehabilitative work off to the side for a second straight day. However, each stood with the wideouts as the healthy pass catchers ran routes on air, taking in mental reps.
- Left guard Micah Mazzccua continued to work in a limited fashion with the offensive line, participating in a black no-contact jersey in sled drills. Rob Sale shared on Sunday that he expects him to be "ready to go soon."
- Tight end Jonathan Odom operated in drills with tight ends, impressively catching passes early in the media viewing window, despite continuing to don a black no-contact jersey.
- Mertz, Miller and Brown make up the current pecking order for routes on air reps.
The Gators will return to the field for fall practice No. 3 on Wednesday.
