It's here: The Florida Gators kick off the 2019 college football season tonight in a highly-anticipated "Week Zero" matchup against the Miami Hurricanes.

The old in-state rivalry feels a bit reborn. There's plenty of reason for excitement, being that today officially starts the 2019 season, but with Florida and Miami's recent agreement to a home-and-home series in 2024-25, today's matchup feels like a new beginning.

The eighth-ranked Gators look to build upon their impressive, 10-win turnaround of a 2018 season under head coach Dan Mullen with a win over Manny Diaz's new Miami team. Diaz enters his first season as a head coach with an impressive defense that will make Florida's goal tough to reach, but with serious questions on the offensive side of the ball for the Hurricanes, this game should go Florida's way.

College Gameday is on-site for today's game, which you can watch live from 9 A.M. until noon.
