Florida's recruiting class is considered the consensus third-best in the country right now.

But while top-rated prospects carry a heavy burden for the Gators to maintain that status, some lesser-known players who help comprise the haul are beginning to receive significant recognition of their own.

In an effort to highlight what it considers "unheralded" recruits from the class of 2024 across the country, On3 Sports interviewed at least 10 staff members from Power 5 football programs, asking each to identify prospects they believe will outplay their ranking at the next level and perhaps even in the NFL.

Two Florida pledges, Fairburn (Ga.) Creekside defensive lineman Michai Boireau and Sarasota (Fla.) Cardinal Mooney cornerback Teddy Foster Jr., were mentioned enough by the scouts to make the list of 22 prospects.

“He’s like 390 pounds and can put his legs behind his head," one staffer said about Boireau, per On3 Sports. "He’s crazy flexible. If he loses weight, he’s got NFL traits.”

Although Boireau actually measured in at 6-foot-5, 355 pounds this summer, the description should otherwise be considered accurate. Boireau is an impressively athletic lineman with his frame in mind, and he showcased those skills to Florida's coaching staff during the program's Friday Night Lights camp in July.

A compilation of clips of Boireau's camp performance can be observed at the top of this story.

Boureau is currently regarded as the No, 68 defensive lineman and No. 720 overall prospect in the class of 2024 by the On3 Sports consensus rankings.

All Gators provided the following biography and scouting notes on Boireau following his June 19 commitment:

, Florida prioritized Boireau considering its glaring need for interior trench talent in the class of 2024. The Gators fought the defending national champion Georgia Bulldogs off to obtain the Peach State prospect's commitment, an impressive feat for Napier and his coaching staff.

A massive nose tackle projection, Boireau tallied 43 tackles, four sacks and seven tackles for loss during his junior season. His frame is likely to be reshaped at the college level which could lead to a redshirt year, but Florida undoubtedly will aim to deploy Boireau in the middle of its defense sooner rather than later.

As for Foster, one staffer put it bluntly.

“Under-recruited," the scout described Foster to On3 Sports. "Long. Athletic. Has ball skills.”

A 6-foot-2, 170-pound cornerback, Foster blipped onto Florida's radar following his emergence as a legitimate boundary prospect during his junior season of high school. He earned a scholarship offer from UF in May and pledged to the program less than two months later.

Foster is currently viewed as the No. 69 cornerback and No. 697 prospect nationwide in the class of 2024 by the On3 Sports consensus rankings.

Below are All Gators' impressions of Foster, which were published shortly after his July 14 commitment.

: Florida was the final school known to have offered Foster before his summertime pledge, entering his recruitment roughly two months prior and quickly rising to the top. The late-blooming cornerback talent fits UF defensive backs coach Corey Raymond's preferred mold for the position with legitimate height, length and speed.

Foster tallied 38 tackles, two interceptions and nine pass breakups during a breakout junior season for Cardinal Mooney in 2022. He also has experience playing wide receiver. After playing football in his early years, Foster

took an extended break

from the sport to pursue AAU basketball but returned to the gridiron in high school.
