Florida’s Regular Season-Finale vs. Florida State Sold Out

The Gators’ (5-5, 3-4 SEC) regular-season finale contest against No. 4 Florida State Seminoles (10-0, 8-0 ACC) is officially sold out, the University of Florida announced on Thursday.

It is the fifth time this season Ben Hill Griffin Stadium has sold out and will be the ninth sell-out during head coach Billy Napier’s tenure in Gainesville.
The Gators will look to use the raucous environment created by 90,000+ fans to their advantage in the Sunshine State rivalry with the undefeated Seminoles, the same way they did when then-No. 11 Tennessee came to town in mid-September.
Florida is in the midst of a three-game losing streak after its bye week, dropping games to Georgia, Arkansas and LSU in the previous three weeks. Napier and Co. hit the road to Columbia, Missouri, in Week 12, striving to pull off an upset over the No. 9 Tigers and earn a postseason-clinching sixth win.
If the Gators are unable to do so, their final appearance in The Swamp during the 2023 campaign will hold critical implications for both programs involved, as UF plays for bowl eligibility while FSU looks to keep their undefeated season and College Football Playoff hopes alive.
Kickoff for the contest is set for 7 p.m. ET. It will air on ESPN.
