Florida vs. Florida State: Gators Announce 2023 Senior Day Class
GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- Florida will honor the following 18 players for its annual Senior Day ceremony, marking the final home regular season game on the Gators' schedule and the potential final contest in The Swamp for several upperclassmen members of the team's roster.

- TE Keon Zipperer, senior
- OL Kingsley Eguakun, redshirt junior
- DL Jaelin Humphries, redshirt junior
- LB Justin Pelic, redshirt junior
- LB Ja'Markis Weston, redshirt junior
- CB Jaydon Hill, redshirt junior
- CB Jalen Kimber, redshirt junior
- OL Micah Mazzccua, junior
- TE Jonathan Odom, junior
- RB Carlson Joseph, redshirt sophomore
Prior to its rivalry matchup with No. 5 Florida State on Saturday in The Swamp, at approximately 6:57 p.m. ET, Florida will recognize each player on the field for earning their degrees this academic year (2023-24).
Some players on the list maintain eligibility beyond the 2023 campaign that they could elect to utilize at UF or elsewhere, however, whether it be due to redshirting during their college career or COVID-19 eligibility extension.
Head coach Billy Napier indicated on Wednesday that Senior Day is playing a motivational factor in the Gators' preparation to play the Seminoles.
"This is a fun group to coach," Napier. "I think they all understand there are some significant things here relative to seniors playing their last game at The Swamp, bowl eligibility potentially at stake here. Certainly just the rivalry in general I think is enough motivation, right? We’ll have a motivated group.”
Florida vs. Florida State is scheduled for a 7 p.m. ET kickoff on Saturday at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The game is sold out, per UF, marking the team's fifth-consecutive sell-out and ninth since Napier took over as the program's head coach last season.
