Week 6 of the high school football season saw several Florida commits turn in their best outings of the year, one of which happened in only one half of play.

It was tough keeping DJ Lagway off the list this week, as it is any time he's not featured in the roundup, following his eight-touchdown performance and over 400 total yards. However, we wanted to feature a few new names.

Which three performers stood out to All Gators on the prep stage this Friday?

WR Izaiah Williams, Carrollwood Day (Fla.)

While complete game stats aren't yet available for Williams' Friday night performance, a couple of highlights appeared on Twitter, accentuating the Tampa prospect's impressive speed and ability to go down and make a catch on a low throw.

Williams found the end zone twice, once from 58 yards out and again from 20 yards out on Friday. He presented the playmaking prowess that drew Florida, alongside several other Power Five programs, to his recruitment. However, Williams' two-touchdown performance wasn't enough to aid his squad to victory, as the Patriots team fell just short of Clearwater Central Catholic, 28-27.

DE Amaris Williams, Clinton (NC.)

Let's flip to the trenches.

The Gators' defensive line commit, projected to play in the "F-end" role in Austin Armstrong's defense, was having a bit of a quiet season, having missed two games in the early part of the year. But Williams exploded onto the scene as Clinton trounced West Bladen in Week 6.

Williams amassed five tackles, all for loss, four sacks and a forced fumble. He also added a touchdown on the ground on offense, doubling as a running back for Clinton at 6-foot-2, 260 pounds. He did it in only one half of play.

After committing to Florida on his first visit to campus, Williams quickly became an underrated asset in the Gators No. 3 recruiting class in 2024. He proved such in the dominant victory on Friday night.

TE Amir Jackson, Portal (Ga.)

While stats aren't yet out for Portal's matchup against Gray Collegiate Academy, the timeline was abuzz due to Jackson's Catch of the Year candidate reception he made Friday night.

The Gators were one of the first Power 5 programs to extend Jackson a scholarship offer, on Jan. 28, and schools such as Florida State, Georgia, Tennessee, Auburn and Alabama followed suit throughout the spring.

A do-it-all talent for Portal, Jackson produced 42 receptions for 710 yards and five touchdowns, rushed 33 times for 188 yards and a touchdown, and accumulated 94 tackles, one sack, one interception, three forced fumbles and four pass breakups defensively between his sophomore and junior seasons. On the basketball court, Jackson has averaged a double-double (14 points, 11.2 rebounds per game) since his freshman year. He'll catch passes in UF's offense as a mismatch "H" tight end.

Gators on the road

Also worth noting, off the high school gridiron, is two Florida commits were in attendance for the Deep South's Oldest Rivalry matchup between Auburn and No. 1 Georgia on Saturday.

Tight end Amir Jackson and JACK edge rusher Jamonta Waller made the trek to The Plains for one of he

While little suggests that there is much, if any, movement in their recruitment, it shows that schools have not backed off the talented recruits and that Florida commits are entertaining those advancements. Both prospects occupy spots at positions of need for the Gators and will be crucial for Billy Napier and Co. to retain until Early Signing Day.
