REDONDO BEACH, Calif. -- The future face of the Florida Gators franchise, quarterback commit DJ Lagway, returned to the Redondo Union High School field on Thursday for day two festivities at the 2023 Elite 11 Finals.

The highly praised quarterback talent expanded on an impressive day one, consisting of an assortment of group drills and a rail shot competition, with admirable production in the pro-day environment. His arm talent and ability to make throws to all levels of the field from any platform were on full display.

All 20 throws from Lagway's Pro Day script can be found in the video at the top of the story.

He finished the day ranked No. 5 among the group of passers, according to Sports Illustrated-FanNation's grading scale:

Continuing to dominate the competition physically as he did on day one, Lagway’s natural arm power was on full display throughout his pro day performance and was highlighted best on some of the script’s toughest tosses. His roughly 55-air-yard pass off of one foot, on the run, targeting a deep corner route at the front right pylon was a perfect example, and he similarly aced passes of difficulty like the running back swing, rail shot and back-of-the-endzone drag routes. Of Lagway’s six incompletions, only one was turnover-worthy; three were dropped by the targeted receiver.
