RB Waltez Clark
Photo currently unavailable
Committed: Sept. 16, 2023
City/School: Tampa (Fla.) Plant
H/W: 6-foot-1, 194 pounds
Profile: Florida's first pledge from the class of 2025, Waltez Clark acts as a Swiss Army knife for Plant High School with experience at running back, outside wide receiver and linebacker. Expected to play the first of those three positions in college, he'll enter the next level with ample tread left on his tires as he's collected fewer than 200 rushing attempts in his varsity career. Yet, Clark has scored 33 rushing touchdowns, at an incredible pace of once every five attempts. He's averaged 8.2 yards per carry to date. Clark's route-running and pass-catching prowess make him a legitimate three-down running back projection as those skills should translate to his full-time backfield utilization. He's caught 49 passes for 870 yards and eight touchdowns with Plant, averaging 17.8 yards per reception.
WR Josiah Abdullah
Committed: Jan. 14, 2024
City/School: Atlanta (Ga.) Woodward Academy
H/W: 5-foot-10, 175 pounds
Profile: A three-year varsity contributor for powerhouse Woodward Academy, Josiah Abdullah offers big-play ability with good long-speed — having clocked a personal-best 11.24 seconds in the 100-meter, great agility and polished intermediate-to-deep route-running technique. His receiving production has jumped year-over-year at the prep level as a result, with Abdullah reaching single-season career-highs of 52 receptions, 786 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior in 2023. He also handles kickoff return duties for Woodward and has averaged 23.7 yards per attempt over 39 tries since his freshman campaign, two of which went for touchdowns. Abdullah notably committed to Florida over offers from Alabama, Michigan, Florida State and Tennessee.
OT Enoch Wangoy
Committed: March 9, 2024
City/School: Jacksonville (Fla.) Zarephath Academy. Originally from Manchester, England
H/W: 6-foot-8, 280 pounds
Profile: A towering offensive tackle prospect with a self-reported seven-foot wingspan, Enoch Wangoy presents plenty of raw upside as a recruit with only one season of football under his belt. He started on the Zarepath Academy offensive line in 2023 while also contributing on defense, where he compiled 19 tackles and two sacks. He also blocked three punts as a junior. Wangoy at 16 years old moved to the United States from Manchester, England, to pursue college sports, having previously focused on soccer, basketball and rugby before taking the gridiron.
iOL Peyton Joseph
Committed: Feb. 18, 2024
City/School: Warner Robins (Ga.) Houston County
H/W: 6-foot-4, 305 pounds
Profile: At the time of his pledge, Peyton Joseph was the second-highest-rated offensive lineman to commit to Florida under head coach Billy Napier, then considered the consensus No. 4 interior lineman and No. 121 overall prospect in the country. Joseph has garnered sufficient experience across the offensive line during his high school stints with Peach County and Houston County, aligning at left and right guard as well as right tackle over the years. He's likely to continue operating as an inside blocker in college, although his experience as an exterior pass protector should only sharpen his athletic abilities in addition to his powerful, mauling demeanor frequently displayed at guard.
DL Jalen Wiggins
Committed: Jan. 15, 2024
City/School: Tallahassee (Fla.) James Rickards
H/W: 6-foot-5, 245 pounds
Profile: Jalen Wiggins has proven to be one of the most disruptive defensive linemen in the state of Florida during his high school tenure, accumulating 167 tackles including 50 for loss, 30 sacks and three forced fumbles over his sophomore and junior seasons. He projects well as a strong-side defensive end with a considerable height/length profile that can continue to be filled out, but his ability to align as a weak-side EDGE shouldn't be ruled out given his experience rushing from a two-point stance. With added bulk, Wiggins could also offer interior pass-rushing abilities. A consensus top-100 prospect, Wiggins is the highest-rated member of Florida's 2025 commitment class, at No. 92 as of the most recent update to this article.
