With Week 7 of the high school football season in the books, All Gators has highlighted three of the Gators commits for standout performances in their games last week.

Two of Florida's committed pass-catchers turned in their best performances of the season, one being Amir Jackson who exploded for four touchdowns, as well as another impressive performance from quarterback commit DJ Lagway who has propelled the Willis Wildkats to a perfect 7-0 record so far this season.

QB DJ Lagway, Willis (Texas)

It has become commonplace for Lagway to produce gaudy stat lines and week 7 was no different, as he completed 23-of-29 passes for 392 with five touchdowns and an interception. But it was the kind of throws he was making that really set things apart.

Over the course of his prep career, Lagway has improved his completion percentage each year as the signal-caller for Willis. In his first full year as the starter in 2021, he completed 55% of his passes, as a junior that number improved to 67%. Now, as a senior, Lagway has made another marked improvement in that category to an impressive 75% through seven games.

That improved accuracy as well as his impressive arm strength can be seen in the clips below as he is effortlessly able to push the ball down the field and fit passes into tight windows.

TE Amir Jackson, Portal (Ga.)

Amir Jackson was having a quiet start to the season for his Portal Panthers, not eclipsing the 50-yard receiving mark in any of his first four games. However, he has burst onto the scene over the last two weeks with 100-yard receiving performances in both games including his best performance of the year on Friday night.

Jackson reeled in five catches for 166 yards and three touchdowns. He also added another touchdown on the ground on his only carry from six yards out.

As previously mentioned, the uber-athletic playmaker has really turned things up the last couple of weeks and his season totals have benefited because of it. Jackson has amassed 431 yards and six touchdowns over 24 catches, as well as 147 yards and four touchdowns on 10 carries rushing through six games.

Unfortunately, there are no clips available from Jackson's standout performance in Week 7.

WR Jerrae Hawkins, IMG Academy (Fla.)

After a two-week layoff, Jerrae Hawkins and the IMG Academy Ascenders were back in action Friday night against the in-state Bartram Trail Bears. It took little time for Hawkins to make his presence felt as he was Liberty quarterback commit Jayden Bradford's favorite target on the night.

The speedy receiver caught five passes for a season-high 107 yards and found his way into the end zone on a reverse, taking his only carry of the season in for a score from 15 yards out.
