Blountstown (Fla.) High defensive back and class of 2024 Texas A&M commitment Jordan Pride intends to unofficially visit Florida for its regular-season finale against Florida State in Week 13, Pride told Brian Smith of All Gators' sister site, All Hurricanes, on Friday evening, before the Tigers' playoff game vs. Port St. Joe (Fla.) High.

The trip will mark Pride's third to Gainesville this year, at least, and his second visit for a game, as he attended Florida's matchup with Arkansas on Nov. 4.

Pride pledged to the Aggies on May 9, almost a month after concluding a near-two-year commitment to the Seminoles. All the while, the Gators have remained a consistent factor in his recruitment, getting the talented defensive back on campus numerous times despite his recruiting allegiance elsewhere.

Pride is considered the No. 18 safety and No. 203 overall prospect in the class of 2024 by the 247Sports composite rankings.

Pride has been credited for making 11 tackles including two for loss, one interception and five pass breakups over seven games for Blountstown this season, per MaxPreps, after missing the beginning of the season due to a knee injury. He tallied 48 tackles and four interceptions between his sophomore and junior seasons, per 247Sports, to go with 37 receptions for 1,042 yards and 12 touchdowns offensively.

"My length, my speed, how I can cover so much ground, they think it'd be a great fit," Pride told All Gators in March, regarding Florida's interest in his skill set. "[Versatility] is what they like about me."

Florida possesses commitments from three defensive backs in the 2024 recruiting cycle: Cornerback Teddy Foster of Sarasota (Fla.) Cardinal Mooney, and safeties, Xavier Filsaime of McKinney (Texas) High and Josiah Davis of Nashville (Ga.) Berrien.
