With the high school football regular season coming to a close, All Gators has highlighted two Lone-Star state prospects committed to Florida for their standout performances to end the campaign.

As an honorable mention, the Gators' most recent commit, LJ McCray, is included for making one of the more impressive plays you'll see from a defensive lineman.

DB Xavier Filsaime, McKinney (Texas) High

Filsaime is widely considered one of the best players in the country at his position, ranked as the No. 2 safety in the country according to 247sports composite. But if there's been one knock on his game as a defensive back thus far, it's his lack of ball production.

Well, on Friday night the talented defensive back put those questions to rest as he came down with two interceptions to go along with six tackles and a pass breakup in the Lions' 37-20 win over the Guyer Wildcats.

Through nine games, Filsaime has racked up 52 total tackles, two forced fumbles, six passes broken up and now two interceptions.

QB DJ Lagway, Willis (Texas) High

Lagway and the Willis Wildkats have made quick work of everyone on their schedule this season, winning each game by more than 30 points.

But on Saturday afternoon, the elite signal-caller and his team found themselves in their first tightly-contested battle of the season as they took on divisional foe The Woodlands for the top spot in the district.

In a game that saw both teams scoring at a high clip, Lagway continued to put on a show, amassing seven total touchdowns and displaying a full-scale ability to make plays with his legs for the first time this year.

While producing over 300 yards passing has become a regular occurrence for Lagway, this season, he hadn't eclipsed the 100-yard mark on the ground until this week, when he exploded for 220 yards and three touchdowns on just 13 attempts. He also completed 29-of-35 passes for 383 yards, four touchdowns and an interception.

With just one game remaining, against the Oak Ridge War Eagles, Lagway is only 168 yards away from surpassing 4,000 total yards on the season.

Honorable Mention: LJ McCray, Daytona Beach (Fla.) Mainland

While stats weren't available for McCray and Mainland's 48-14 win over the Seabreeze Sandcrabs, this play had to make the cut.

McCray displayed the elite combination of size, athleticism, and awareness that makes him such a coveted prospect by making this backfield interception, which he returned for his first career defensive touchdown, according to MaxPreps.
