Recruit Roundup: Week 4 Florida Commitment Standouts and Highlights

Highlights from standout performances by Florida Gators class of 2024 commitments in Week 4 of the high school season.

Week 4 of the high school football season saw some new Florida 2024 commits excel when given the opportunity.

All Gators put together a recruiting spotlight to highlight those commitments and how they performed in the most recent matchups of their senior seasons.

The headliner: a future second-level defender that made his impact felt on the offensive side of the ball while filling in for an injured teammate.

Myles Graham, Buchholz (Fla.)

While Graham is being recruited to play linebacker when he enrolls at UF, he proved that he is an elite athlete that can do it all.

Offensively, Graham ran the ball nine times on the night, racking up 199 yards and 3 TD's in Buchholz's 49-20 victory over Creekside High School. With the ball in his hands, Graham showcased his ability tote the rock at an elite-level, displaying vision, instincts, burst and finishing speed.

All of those attributes came together on his 96 and 67-yard touchdown runs, where he was able to weave through defenders while flashing some of the aforementioned speed that will certainly be an asset when he makes the full-time transition to linebacker upon his arrival to Florida.

You can see all of his touchdown runs in the clips below.

Tawaski Abrams, Dunbar (Fla.)

Abrams had by far his most productive game of the season in Week 4 and his Dunbar team needed every bit of it.

Accounting for 141 total yards and two touchdowns, as well as the game clinching two-point conversion, Abrams elevated Dunbar to a thrilling 40-39 win in double overtime over Fort Myers High School.

His propensity to make plays in crucial moments highlighted the high-scoring affair and eventual victory for his team.

Here is a snippet of what Abrams brings to the table from his All Gators' Scouting Report.

Abrams isn’t just a straight-line burner with track speed. He displays impressive elusiveness with the ball in his hands, consistently making defenders miss in space and picking up extra yards after the catch.

Josiah Davis, Berrien (Ga.)

Davis is a do-it-all athlete for his prep squad. He’s served time at quarterback, running back, wide receiver, defensive back and kick returner, making an impact at all of them.

That was certainly the case in Week 4 as he accounted for four total touchdowns on the night. Three scores came on the ground as he took nine carries for 79 yards, pairing his productive night rushing with a 91-yard pick-six to close out the game for the Rebels.

His burst and speed shined as highlighting attributes as a junior, earning the interest of several Power Five schools including Florida. The traits proved prominent once again during his performance Friday night.

Found out more about Davis' skill set from his All Gators' Scouting Report:

Davis displays an impressive burst when playing from his primary wildcat QB position. He sees the hole and hits it hard. Once he gets to the second level, he has enough extra gear to take it the distance at any time, and you see that several times on tape.

Defensively, Davis is able to use that burst and speed to break on passes and come downhill quickly.
