With Week 9 of the high school football season behind us, All Gators has highlighted two defenders committed to Florida who manufactured impressive performances to help their respective programs come out with a win last week.

One of our standouts made his presence felt both offensively and defensively for a local squad that remains undefeated eight games into the season.

Myles Graham, Gainesville (Fla.) Buchholz

Graham, who is committed to the Gators to play linebacker, has been a standout two-way prospect since he burst onto the recruiting scene as a sophomore. Friday night was more of the same, as Graham made his presence felt on both sides of the ball.

Defensively, Graham tallied six total tackles, with two sacks and a forced fumble. On the offensive end, he found his way into the end zone three times and had a fourth called back.

Buchholz is currently pegged as the No. 9-ranked team in the state of Florida regardless of classification, according to MaxPreps, thanks in no small part to Graham's contributions.

Jamonta Waller, Picayune (Miss.) Memorial

Waller continues to be a problem for opposing offenses, feasting in opponent's backfields over the past two years. A season ago, the Picayune star racked up 24 stops behind the line of scrimmage and is on a similar path this season.

He currently sits at 14 tackles for loss through eight games, including four recorded on Friday night to go with 11 total tackles and a sack.

The lightning-quick edge rusher's performance was a focal point of the impressive defensive effort put forth by the Maroon Wave as they rolled to their sixth victory of the season by a score of 42-7.
