Oviedo (Fla.) High 2024 offensive lineman Tye Hylton included Florida among his top seven schools over the weekend, narrowing down his recruitment ahead of his June 16-18 official visit with the Gators.

Joining UF in Hylton's group of contenders was UCF, Florida State, Miami, Texas A&M, Penn State and Vanderbilt.

Hylton's official visit will be his fourth campus trip to Gainesville this year, following three unofficial visits between March and May.

Before his upcoming three-day stay with the Gators, Hylton officially visited Penn State from June 2-4 and Miami from June 9-11. He is scheduled to officially visit Florida State from June 23-25.

Hylton is regarded as the No. 83 offensive tackle and No. 996 overall prospect in the class of 2024 by the 247Sports composite rankings. He emerged as Oviedo's starting right tackle as a sophomore and moved to the left side for his junior season.

Listed as a 6-foot-4, 270-pound prospect, Hylton could be a candidate to play along the interior offensive line at the college level.

Florida does not currently possess an offensive line commitment in the class of 2024.
