Destyn Hill Officially Enrolls at Florida State More Than Two Years After Signing Letter of Intent

FSU's top-rated signee from the 2021 class is finally in Tallahassee.

The unicorn is no more. The mystery man has finally arrived.

While Florida State fans are probably asking themselves, 'where the hell has Destyn Pazon/Hill been for two years?', it doesn't matter anymore because he's finally in Tallahassee.

That's right. On Friday morning, the Seminoles officially announced his addition to the program. He will begin classes at the start of next week. This comes in the days after he showed up in the university's student directory as a member of FSU's College of Business with his Major set as NFA-Accounting.

This is a huge development for the Seminoles as the team gets its top-rated signee from the 2021 class on campus. The former four-star prospect was regarded as a top-150 prospect in his respective recruiting class. It says a lot about how the coaching staff feels about Hill to stick with him throughout this process and ensure that he would make it to Tallahassee.

It remains to be seen what kind of shape he's in and there will certainly be some rust for Hill to shake off as he works his way back into a rhythm. It may be tough to expect a ton out of him in 2023 with the amount of talent that Florida State has coming back but that remains to be seen.

The Louisiana native caught 33 passes for 806 yards and 15 touchdowns during his COVID-19-shortened senior season. Hill won multiple state championships while developing into a star at Edna Karr High School. He was a deep threat as an outside receiver who made a living at beating man coverage.

It will be interesting to see where he slots in with the Seminoles. The team is in need of help in the slot with former wide receiver Mycah Pittman transferring to Utah. Hill is expected to retain full college eligibility as begins his career at Florida State.
