FSU Football Shown in EA Sports College Football 25 Video Game Teaser Trailer

The Seminoles made an appearance in the much-anticipated College Football 25 trailer.

The Florida State Seminoles made an appearance in the new EA Sports "College Football 25" teaser trailer.

Fans have long awaited the arrival of the next NCAA college football video game following its cancellation in July of 2013. The series finally makes a return this summer, with a full reveal of the game coming in May, according to the company.

The teaser shows a narrator sewing together jerseys of various teams inside the Rose Bowl, one of college football's most iconic locations. An EA Sports jersey is sewn alongside renderings of a Florida State uniform. The end of the trailer shows a pan out to show the EA Sports jersey in full: A black and white uniform with their logo, a No. 25 on the back, and "yeah, it's really happening" where a player's last name would read.

FSU's jersey was featured alongside the Nebraska Cornhuskers, the Michigan Wolverines, The Texas A&M Aggies, the Florida Gators, and the Georgia Bulldogs.

Earlier this week, the official EA Sports College Football Twitter/X account updated its bio to read "Coming this summer. Full reveal in May." It's been a decade since their last game, and college football fans across the country are celebrating its much-anticipated return.

The game was shut down back in 2013 after the NCAA failed to renew its licensing contract with EA Sports due to a legal dispute surrounding the usage of a player's Name, Image, and Likeness within the game. EA had hopes of continuing the game in 2015 but eventually failed to do so. After the introduction of NIL into college athletics, the game was announced to return in November of 2022.
